Students are not the main focus. Teacher and Administrative needs come first

I am a student here and the teachers spend a lot of time complaining. They never take reasonable and useful action.

This is a well run well organized school with a staff that has the utmost respect for their building principal and his management skills. Kids love the teachers and principal and there is mutual respect between principal staff parents and students. Activities abound at this jr high. It is a safe fun place to be. However there is discussion of using ICAN similar to the elementary schools as a grading system. We don't have a definitive answer as to the implementation. ICAN is excessively subjective there is no motivation for kids to excel as there are no letter grades attached to work performed. Assessments are complicated and teachers have not been adequately trained. This is a great school because of its leadership. However parents are outraged at the possibility of ICAN's implementation at this school.

This is a great school! The principle is very good. and the kids are great! I go there and loves it! my older brother went there as well and he loved it too. my younger sister will be going there in 2 to 3 years and I know she will love it. The staff at the school is very sturdy. They are always on their toes and ready to talk about important issues. though there are a few new teachers there they all are equal in the ways they teach their lessons. the conselor- Ms. Evans- is very nice and she is always ready to listen to the kids questions concerns and comments.
