I am a former student. I was pulled out of class at least three times for my religious beliefs (I am an atheist Buddhist not a Christian). The then principal Ms. Waters actually told me that what our forefathers meant by 'freedom of religion' actually referred to 'freedom to worship God as we see fit.' She informed me it did not mean freedom to NOT worship God. They allowed religious groups (Club Truth) to pull me from class and harass me also. Bibles were shoved in my bags and students were not punished but lauded. I was kicked off the bus and punished for bogus reasons but it really boiled down to the fact that I was not a Christian. I had some excellent teachers here who may not have been aware of what was happening as they never talked about it or perpetuated any of the behavior but I dealt with a lot of harassment from the principal. The principal actually let students create a petition to stop a group of citizens from building a Buddhist institution in the community. The school also forces children to attend Club Truth (a Christian organization that 'tries to get them young') on certain weekdays before classes start. This is illegal.

Friendly teachers that work hard to make school interesting. Very pleased with pre-K and kindergarten programs.

A great school with alot of caring teachers and faculty. I just am not happy with the countys lack of keeping everything up to date there as other schools. We need all that they have including sports and equipment. Our kids are just as important!
