California Standards Test (CST)

In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

People like to give this school a bad reputation but in reality this school is amazing. Teachers are more involved and pay attention to help improve each student's learning experience. If you're behind on credits for whatever reason this school gives you a huge and fair opportunity to catch up.

This school is great. It gets bad rep but its a second chance that's fair for everyone. This is the third different method of school I have done and is by far the best. Proud to go here.

Special Education department is not following the Special Education law for students with disabilities. Some of the teachers are not adaquately trained to teach in this area.My child will be placed in a private school that services my child.
