My daughter went to Crestview High school and i can say its a great school. They have the CHOICE program and this year they just added cosmetology they several other options too. There athletics are great. Academics are Amazing all the teachers care and if they have a failing grade they will notify you if you let them know that you want them too. The principal is great too. The ESE program is wonderful. It does have crowded hallways but my Daughter could get from on end of the school to the other and be to class on time! Discipline is very high too.

I am a Freshman at Crestview High School and entering this school from the local middle school was a shock! The students at CHS are out of control and fights happen all the time right in the middle of the halls! The school is unsanitary and old and many of the bathrooms are so repulsive I do not even want to use them. The school is definitely overcrowded and class sizes are very large. On a positive note most of the teachers and staff are very helpful and informative but some are clearly only at the school for their paycheck. The principal is helpful the staff in the office try to help but they often do not know the answers to your questions. Overall Crestview is a great school from an academic standpoint but something needs to be done about the fights vandalized desks and lockers corrupt students and sanitation.

It's is the worse school that my son attended. He received very little help from his teachers and the guidance councilor is rude and got annoyed when ask for advice or help. This school may be good for children that are advanced but not for any student that needs extra attention or below average! Don't be fooled by the "A+" school.... It's not only on paper!!! I felt as though the school is more concern about the fcat scores than what the children are really processing and learning

Ok school. There is a certain science teacher in 9th grade that brings it down. Certain teachers needs to go.

Crestview High School is an outstanding school. Crestview High School offers students a wide range of opportunities while providing them a small school 'family' feel. The teachers administrators and staff at Crestview High are dedicated to helping their students become the productive members of an informed society. As does every school in Okaloosa county Crestview High provides parents the opportunity to remain active in their child's academic life. Every teacher is open to parent calls emails and conferences. They provide the education to students that parents should seek while giving assistance to any parent who wants to remain an active member of his child's education.

I only get calls about my child having detention for being tardy and not any for failing grades and not even to let me know if my ESE student will be able to participate in his Graduation...

The classes at Crestview High School are overall in a great range and most of the staff is good with the students but many of the students are horrible. The hallways are overcrowded rendering you immobile against the walls of students blocking your path. Fights are nearly daily and some of the kids don't even care about the school at all in fact I sat behind a kid who fell asleep during FCAT. The guidance counselors do a great job and regardless of what the other reviews say they do answer your calls. The Embry-Riddle and Choice Programs are really great although the Aerospace classroom could be expanded a bit... Overall the school the school's programs and the school's teachers are great but many of the students there should be sent to a separate school miles away. I've been to six different schools and I would highly reccomend Crestview High's classes.

Crestview High School has great atmosphere personality and heart! The staff are open and accessible to all parents always ready to problem-solve for any student. CHS is on the cutting edge of education seriously committed to educating America's future citizens to the best of their ability.

Im very disapponted in Crestview High School it used to be a good school now it just seems more like a prison for students there the staff never seem to find time to answer the phones there but they can afford to spend your tax dollars on answering machines and you will be lucky if they call you back if you want anything done you have to show up in person then the principal don't listen to you he only listens to the teachers side of everything

I am a freshman at CHS and the school does have crowded hallways but overall the school is a great place for career building Because it offers many choices from the CHOICE program's including automotive technichian courses to aviation classes and every thing in between. Most of the techeers that i have are great on their subjects but some need improving. i qould consider going to Crestview High School 'home of the Dawgs!!!'

This school has a few things they need to work on such as the teaching skills and the load of work also the way material is being taught.

I am a student at crestview high... The new leadership at crestview is much better... And limited funding? They have repainted the entire school bought a new scoreboard and currently building on the school. The extracurricular activities are excellent. Its just lazy students who give the school a bad name. Its not as big as niceville but i guarantee we have better teachers and staff that actually help students... Go bulldogs!

I recently moved from Crestview as a senior and couldn't miss it more. This school has more oppurtunitys then any of the over all 14 school's I have attended. The only problem I ever had with the school was limited funding and the over exageration of some programs and the underexageration of others. I am now about to graduate in another location and cannot believe how much these students and parents take Crestview High for granet. The parents need to stop complaining and make things happen and the students need to take advantage of what Crestview High School offers them. After all they could be somewhere else and I better then most know the grass is not greener on the other side. Thank You

School needs better leadership and teachers that care about the students. Maybe they have too many students or they just don't care.

Crestview might be OK if you have a happy healthy normal child but if your child is not the norm good luck. The leadership provides very little assistance. This says little for their caring and concern for the children there. If your child is has no learning or psychological problems send them to Crestview. Otherwise don't bother.

Although FCAT would seem to indicate that Crestview is a great school there are many detracting factors. Communication could definitely be improved even on the internet. Not enough guidance counselors and trying to personally contact one requires patience and perserverance. I know there are dedicated and caring teachers.

This School is wonderful sure the hallways are crowded but it is worth it. to go to the wonderful classes and get such a great education. principal leadership is very high and so is teacher quality. they have plenty of extracurricular activites maybe not alot of parent involvement. Safety and discipline is over all good - good as it can get with a school so big so the overall quality is very high for a school at this size.

School is entirely overcrowded. Kids can not walk down the hall and expect to get to class on time. Principal leadership needs to be better. Not enough counselors for students. However the CHOICE program does make this school attractive and benefits all enrolled students. If unfamiliar with CHOICE read about it at the County's School website.

This school has a great staff of teachers. They have great programs to help the student in areas that they are having difficulty. If it hadn't been for the preformance progam/ instutite program my would would probably not be graduating on time this year. They have really helped him progress in his classes. You can really tell from the atmosphere when walking through the doors and being helped to the fullest from the staff there that it is the school to be at.
