I must say as a parent Hannah Beardsley is one of the highest ranked schools in Illinois. The teachers give each student attention and helps them when they see a strugle. The Language Arts/Reading teachers exceed what other middle school's would focus on. For example the students in eight grade work on building theme and relevance in their reading. In math the teachers help each student with all the care. This school is very high and has the most excellent and has one of the top teachers in the United States. A+

As an 8th grader at HBMS I would like to say that I have spent the best three years here. The teachers and faculty members are great but the whole environment is simply amazing. The gifted program is probably the best program I have ever gone through. Who knew I could enjoy books such as 'To Kill A Mockingbird' 'My Antonia' and 'A Tale of Two Cities'! Also it has been great pleasure to experience the 'hands on' activities in Sewing and Home Ec. I am extremely saddened to know that future students will not have the same pleasure. The teachers at Hannah are truly one-of-a-kind. They really reach out to each student and are fun to be around. Not to mention the fact that they hold such amazing after school activities such as drama club jazz band basketball and volleyball. I will miss this school. sincerely an 8th grader who cares.

My daughter came from an academically challenging environment in Chicago and I was worried that HBMS wouldn't compare. Boy was I wrong! They have done a great job in preparing her for the challenges of High School and she's been on the honor roll each year of her enrollment. This has done wonders for her self esteem! They have tons of activities for the students and they are willing to spend extra time helping individuals. I credit Principal Ludwig AP Mr. Urbanek and the host of great educators they employ with equipping my child very well for her future endeavors.

I'm a busdriver for District 47/155. I can't give a review of the academics at Hannah but I can say that the students are among the best behaved children that ride the school busses. I have to believe that has something to do with how the principal and the teachers at Hannah interact with the students. Thanks for making our job safer and more enjoyable.

We have been involved with 3 different schools due to moves. HBMS is by far the best! The #1 reason the schools works is because of Ron Ludwig the principal. He cares about his school and his students. The education is top rate. They believe in hands-on learning and letting the kids experience knowledge first hand. Emphasis is put on character and quality in sports too. The kids have a ton of clubs to choose from. The administration tries to get every child involved in something. Check out their website under d47.org for more information.

This school Is the best. I wish I would have gone here. It's a high standard school and the inside is beautiful. The facilities are very clean. My daughter loves this school. She said that she would love to graduate from HBMS. I would like her to also. If we were to move I would drive for as long as it takes just so she can graduate from Hannah Beardsley Middle School.
