What a great school. We are very impressed with the teachers and the Assistant Principals. There PTA is really good and it is neat how each 5th grade class donates something to the school (benches playground etc) almost every year. The teachers really care and it shows. I just hope GA removes Common Core.

The teachers work hard but most of the curriculum is based toward state testing. After the state tests are over the last few weeks of school are spent watching movies and playing. The principal is cold and can be aggressive towards parents hopefully with the involvement of new assistant principals there will be an overall more friendly atmosphere from the administration.

It is extremely organized safe and responsive staff members. If you have any problem you know that the principal is there to solve very quickly.

School is very organized and clean. If you have a problem it is easy to talk to principal and teachers as well. The principal is certainly fair and problem solver. If you call any staff member yo can easily get a response in a hour. Only problem with school is they are teaching to pass CRCT exam. They are using old school methods rather than the teaching with fun creativity and new methods. My son was in a second grade this year. When he was learning and memorizing multiplication tables he had a hard time. Because the teacher gave the table and wanted them to use it. She believed all kids will remember If they looked those tables ten times. Unfortunately my son and our neighbor's son was not the one of them. So my husband and I spent several hours days and days trying to teach to him by fun songs and rythm. If your id is a learner wit the traditional methods and tons oof homework it is a school for your kid
