I love Nathan Adams Elementary so far it's been such an amazing experience for my daughters and for me as a parent. I love the dual language program. My daughters are excited that they have the opportunity to learn in both languages (Spanish and English) at the same time. They have the best teachers. They are very caring patient and loving. Their after school programs are amazing. They love joining their Chess Club every year. Hopefully the new Principal will do the same amazing job as Ms. Mcgill did on the past year. Go Armadillos!!!!!!

FANTASTIC School! Principal McGill is a wonderful woman and genuinely loves her job and cares about her students. The teachers are great and they do their very best at making sure the parents are informed and that students stay on track with their learning and grades. The school is very nice and clean they are always doing some sort of updating like the student garden to make the school as nice as possible. I always feel that my daughter is safe and in good hands while she is in school. Nathan Adams has a great in-house afterschool program which is very helpful to us working parents. The PTA is great. Although I don't have the time to be a part of it I am very thankful for all they do for our kids. I would be very sad if I everhad to take my daughter out of there to go to another school. You can't get much better than Nathan Adams. The Nathan Adams Armadillos ALWAYS beat the rest!!

I was nervous at first sending my daughter to this school because of DISD. She attended Nathan Adams during kindergarden and first grade it was a great experience for her. The teacher's at this school really do care about the children. Unfortunately she is at a different school now but we miss Nathan Adams and it's staff. We will never forget Mrs. O'hara in the first grade. She is extremely nice and patient to the children and our daughter loved her.

This is our 3rd year at Nathan Adams. We have found Nathan Adams to be an excellent school. With superb educators from Mrs. McGill on down through her staff. Our son has received excellent guidance from both his 1st 2nd and now third grade teachers. The strong PTA and Dads Club really help make this school one of the best and we are lucky to have our sopn attending here.

Fabulous caring teachers and coach. The principal Mrs. Mcgill runs a tight ship.

Nathan Adams could be a better school if the teachers would teach more than worksheets and workbooks everyday. They neglect all subjects that are not on the Taks test. My child was very board with what was being taught day in and day out. Also her teacher and others were consistently late and the principal chose to look the other way. We among others in our neighborhood are moving our children to other schools.

The quality of the academic programs are suitable for the teacher to student ratios. There are music chess track talented & gifted and after school programs available. The school is located near two prestigious private schools surrounded by an upper middle class neighborhood. Parent's participate in various activities to include a Dad's club. The school is bordering an overflow capacity with a handful of portable classrooms made available. The only negative comment about this school is their poor student monitoring on the overcrowded school buses. Considering this school is in the Dallas ISD this elementary is far better than most in Dallas.

This is our first year at Nathan Adams and my son Carlos who is in Kindergarten LOVES it! He can already read and has learned so much already! The teachers here are wonderful! The cirriculum is wonderful! The principal is wonderful! Nathan Adams is wonderful! I was very concerned with enrolling my son in DISD but I was lucky enough to find the diamond in the rough! This school is great and I am very happy that we get to be a part it for the next 6 years! Nathan Adams Armadillos are the best!

My kids are 1st and 3rd graders and we have been very pleased with most aspects of this school. Teachers and staff are very dedicated and capable. The economic and ethnic diversity at this school are rare and provide a unique opportunity for the children. Many transfer to Nathan Adams from other schools or choose it over private schools which speaks highly of the excellence of this school. When I do have a concern I know that I will be heard and action taken if necessary.

I was really nervous about having my child start kindergarten within DISD and had considered the private school route. I wanted to drop a note and let you know how very pleased I was with the 2004/2005 registration process the staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. So far I am feeling more confident this was the right choice for my son. I have only 1 concern the facility is old and needs improvements.

I have had several children attend Nathan Adams over the past 8 years. There is not a better elementary school in DISD with teachers as good as Nathan Adams. The education received at Nathan Adams is easily compared to any area private school (Nathan Adams is surrounded by St. Marks Greenhill Hockaday) and with the education received at this school we could gain entry to any of those private schools. Most teachers have been at the school for several years (6-7 year average) and the parents are extremely involved.

We left the world of private schools to attend Nathan Adams and have not regretted the decision for a second. The quality of teachers is outstanding. They are experienced in teaching and in many cases demonstrate great wisdom way beyond their years. They universally have outstanding communication skills and use them well. They appear to partner with the parents in the education of the children who they dearly love early in the year and celebrate each child's difference. The leadership in the school under Mrs. McGill is one of great discipline surrounded by a great deal of nurturing. She is always interacting and supporting the students and teachers. The PTF (under tireless Tracey's leadership) has a strong sense of purpose and organization resulting in easy parental involvment which the children notice and love. What a gem Nathan Adams is to our family and the community.

We have been at Nathan Adams for 2 years now and it has been a wonderful experience for both my children and myself. We came from a private school and searched for a public school that offered a comparable curriculium we have been more than happy with N.Adams. There is a good amount of parental involvement and the PTA is on the ball this year. Information is easy to come by and you feel welcome when you go to the school if fact it's encouraged. I recomend N.Adams highly to anyone out there.
