Though I am an alumni of TW Brown I do not recommend that your child attend this school. The school does not offer many supportive services to special education students and the classes are overpopulated (as can be expected with most public schools in DISD). In the past few years TW Brown has recieved 4 additional feeder elementary schools with no addition middle school. Too much violence and not enough intervention.

The level of parent involvement is low which is sad. It seems that the parents would want to be more involved in what's going on in their child school. As far as the academic programs so far so good.

This school is absolutely a big disappointment. It has been my personal experience dealing with total unprofessionlism with a particular teacher. I have had bad teachers in my school days but never have I seen this type of behavior from a teacher. But the first time our kids get out of order they get suspended. And where are the books? How do they expect them to excel with no study materials to bring home?
