It is always great to have your child love school. She wants to go to school everyday. There are lots of after school activities which allow her to try out new things. The staff is wonderful. The parents and staff work together to give the kids a great elementary school experience.

Panorama is an amazing place to be. Never have I encountered a school where EVERY staff member is on the same page the desire to make ALL children successful so evident. Just walk the halls and feel the welcoming spirit of this warm and inviting place. Kids feel safe and loved!

We Love Panorama! The principal really gives his all even though he is only paid for part time. The Teachers Librarian Secretary Music teacher and all the other staff are great people and really do their part to make this school what it is. There is also high amount of parent involvement which is always great to see. I was happily surprised to see so many different programs(sports music theater ixl etc..) and services(before & after school) available and more being added all the time.

If I could give this school more than 5 stars I would! This is our 3rd year at Panorama & we love it! Teachers staff students parent/family community are all wonderful. We don't live in the Southern Hills area but because we live in Brisbane we are lucky enough to be able to attend Panorama since the school is part of the Brisbane School District. When my son started in kindergarten I was worried he could barely read. But by Spring of his kindergarten year he was reading. And now he is reading a grade level higher than his actual grade level. I give all the credit to the teachers & librarian at Panorama. Because of those teachers & the librarian my son not only reads well but he LOVES to read.

Panorama is an awesome school!! The classes are small and the teachers care so much about all the children. Panorama has a loving caring community like environment that every school should have. The parents are an awesome network of help and we all look out for each other and help each other when we can.

We absolutely LOVE Panorama Elementary! Our oldest son just started Kindergarten so this is our first of everything. We love the community teachers principal secretary librarian and programs/services offered to the students. The first day of school our son cried because it was all new. He was all smiles at the end of the day and everyday since then......oh wait except when he cries because I pick him from school and he wants to stay!!! What parent doesn't want their child to feel safe secure and nurtured when at school? The students get that at Panorama and more! Lastly the principal and staff listen to the parents. We had an issue with morning care and so they put together a morning care program for parents who need to get to work earlier than the drop-off time.....two weeks prior to the school year! Seeing how the principal found a way to help us we knew and felt confident that picking PAN to be our son's school was the right decision.

Panorama is a very special place made so by the great mix of people who all give a little extra and make it happen. We have been under served by the district the board the state and yet we always find a way to get through. We are a community in the truest sense of the word. Every one on the staff and the teachers with limited resources gives 110% . I give the principal leadership 3/5 since we share him with the other elementary school. so its a good grade considering it equates with 6/5 if he were full time. Great effort but we do suffer from not having a full time leader

My daughter Nia has been at Panorama for three years and it is a wonderful environment for her early school experience. I can't say enough about the loving teachers who all have known her by name since her first day of kindergarten. Mr. Carvey the new principal is dedicated and motivational. The parents who are involved are awesome of course we would love more parent help but what school wouldn't? It is a small safe and "highly effective" place for my daughter to grow. Thanks Panorama family.

The "highly effective teaching" method is non traditional but an emphasis on the state standards has pulled test scores way up. after school program is cheap and safe and there are always extra programs like science and chess after school and a great junior giants field with great baseball teams and coaches. lots of field trips and a focus on life skills and becoming thoughtful citizens. Its been perfect for our family.

I am very impressed that Panorama thrives with so many cuts so many demands on staff and school and little resources. Part of it is due to a dedicated staff and part of it is due to a smart young principal who care about children and won't let dwindling funding stop her from helping all her children.

Panorama Elementary is a great school. It's small size allows kids to have a personal relationship with their teachers and the administrators. The teachers at Panorama genuinely care about the kids and work hard to prepare them for the higher grades. The philosophy at Panorama is not to teach kids WHAT to think in order to pass tests but they teach kids HOW to think. I would much rather have my son learning critical thinking skills anyday. I think they do great and I know my son will be more prepared for the advanced grades because he has learned problem solving critical thinking skills and other life skills that will make him a better person as he gets older.

The pricipal is a young dynamic person who has a vision of bringing the brilliance of every child. There is a lot of parent involvement with the school. The class sizez are samll. It is lacking some extra curricular activities due to (budget constraints but it also receives support fromthe Daly city Rec Dept with the after school program.) It is a great school.

I am also a parent with a child at Panorama. I truly love this school. I just wish that they had sport activities and a year round music and art program. But the school and the teachers and the principal are extreamly caring and the libary is the most fantastic school library that I have ever seen.

Panorama is an extraordinary school. It is as good as any private school yet has a small community atmosphere. The new principal is excellent.
