This is my child's third year at Daniels Elementary and I am extremely pleased with the education he is receiving. He is excelling at reading and math. His teachers are excellent and strive to challenge the students. The school is clean orgnaized and the office staff are friendly. They have been very open to letting parents volunteer their time when needed.

This school is "ok". the teachers treat the kids as if they were in 12th grade. but thats not good. they are too strict. they dont offer many rewards for the students. the teachers are not that well trained. nobody ever made good grades. the principle and teachers played favorites alot. the teachers are also rude. There's not really much for the students to do. My little cousin hates it. And the library is not worthy to be called a library.

My child is at the end of his PreK year and I think that his teachers are wonderful and very concerned about the children. They have taught him so much.

I'm a non-custodial parent who happens to live out of state. Not once have i received any correspondence or a response from my child's teacher. Being a parent that has limited involvement with their childs educational activities it's frustrating when the teacher doesn't want to conduct a phone conference. I'm very disappointed.

I think there is an extraordinary group of teachers at Daniels for 2007-08. There have been a lot of changes over the past few years. The academic program offers daily small groups to students in reading who are struggling beyond the regular reading program. There is an emphasis on hands on learning. The physical education and music are very good. The preschool is rapidly expanding. There is a basketball intramural program in the winter for all students. The parents are very generous.

I am mostly pleased with this school. I see alot of parent involvement and quality teachers that have served this school for many years. The last several years have been rough because of combinding two schools moving into new school and changing of principals several times. Still most ofthe students and the most teachers try to hold up their school of excellence standards. Like all schools and life in general you will see ups and downs but Daniels mainly looks up and ahead!

Not very pleased with this school. If I had the means I would take my children out. Teachers are not much help. They are not very helpful when you have a child that needs extra help. These days I believe they try to teach students too much to fast and the ones that are a little slower can not keep up and no one wants to help them. Parents cant do this alone. I have kids and know other kids who get such low self asteem because a teacher belittles them and makes them feel stupid.
