Decorah High School is a very progressive school. The teachers are first rate and do everything they can to help students. Co-curricular activities are strong and with the hiring of the new activities director they will become even stronger because the new AD is a go getter. Students that graduate from Decorah are very well prepared to go onto college and if they don't go to college they have been given enough knowledge to survive in the world. As a former student of DHS and a future educator I can only hope that I get the opportunity to teach at Decorah because I owe DHS a lot.
