I put my child into private from public thinking that it would give him the academic challenge he needs. What a disappointment this school has been. Everyone there seems to talk great praises but my friend and I just don't see it. Nothing special about this school they switched to Singapore style math this year but were previously doing everyday math which is horrible. Also Wordly Wise is used which is also the same as public schools. So essentially you're paying for a shiny empty box. One of the things that my son told me that occurred in class that I find unacceptable was he and his classmate gave presentations everyone was cleaning out their desks and not paying attention. The teacher did NOTHING. Not impressed about this school.

This school prepares you for High School and the teachers challenge the students. I would say the students from St. Anne's are very smart. When you get to Middle School in St. Anne's they allow you to go to many places as a class. Like The Sand Dunes Hot Springs Alligator Farm River Rafting Washington D.C. Europe Costa Rica and much more. My daughter has been in St. Anne's for 10 years now (preschool-7th) and has one more year left at that school. Her brother is 6 years older than her and went to public schools and she knows alot more than him. By the time your in 6th grade the students are already doing some High school work already. St. Anne's is a wonderful school with a great academic program.
Outstanding school! I have a son and a daughter who attend and there is not only strong academics but a true sense of community amongst the students parents and teachers. The offerings outside of the core subjects are numerous - foreign languages drama and p.e. (daily pe classes-exceptional program)
