This school is a great school. I recommend to anyone who is moving to the area. My daughter has medical issues and because of this she has behavioral issues as well. The school set her up with an IEP and since then she has done really well. The teachers are wonderful and caring. They see that she is getting the best possible education. I am very pleased with the way they are handling my daughters educational needs. She will be going into the second grade this year and we look forward to another year with Rock Springs Elementary.

Love this school. We just moved to Denver NC last week of Jan 2012 so my son only got to go to this school for 4 1/2 months but I loved it. Everyone was very friendly kind and nice. The school is clean updated and just plain cute! This was my 5th child so I have seen many different school curriculums and this school has the best by far. Anyone thinking of moving to this area and going to this school..I highly recommend it!!

Rock Springs is a solid traditional school. I have found the teachers to be very helpful and responsive and the principal to be pleasant and very engaged. I do not believe it competes with schools of the same rating in the northern states. We are not seeing the same levels of innovation and challenge as in our prior school in a northern state. It's hard to compare when testing varies by state. Overall a good (not great) school. I was initially so impressed by the afterschool clubs but they have turned out to be short lived and not super organized. Still nice that they offer them. High parental involvement. Students not as welcoming as you would hope.

The faculty and staff of Rock Springs are great. There is a very welcoming atmosphere the minute you arrive in the school. There are high expectations for all students and they rise to the challenge with the help of great teachers.

I personally think this is a great school! We have an autistic child there and they really work hard to help his development needs. Ms. Caldwell and Mrs. plonk does an awesome job! Thank you for all of your hard work.
