Amy Peltier, ASID
Although my love for interior design began long before I went to college, my experience and extensive design knowledge starts with my design degree from Michigan State University, a CIDA
(Council for Interior Design Accreditation) certified design school.
Since graduating, my high-end residential interiors have spanned the globe from Shanghai, China to across the United States.
(Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Colorado, North Carolina, California and Indiana)
In 2008 I opened A. Peltier Interiors.
I am also an active member of ASID (the American Society of Interior Designers). ASID is the oldest, largest and leading professional organization for interior designers. Professional members of
ASID must pass rigorous acceptance standards, including a combination of accredited design education and/or full-time work experience and passage of a two-day accreditation examination administered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), which I recently passed this year.
My decade of design experience includes managing design projects from remodels to single spaces and everything in between. All of my design decisions come from a practical point of view creating comfortable, durable and always beautiful spaces. The most important aspect I tackle as a designer is to understand and execute my clients' vision. Ultimately their lifestyle and tastes are what guide my project, creating unique homes perfectly tailored to each client.
