Christina Salway graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts in 2003 with a bachelor's degree focused in architecture.
She took up residence in New York City, where she cut her teeth at the renowned club-and-restaurant designing architecture firm, R.I.P. After two years with R.I.P., Christina left the firm to pursue her own work, and started an interior design company called, ElevenTwoEleven Design (named for the zip code of her home and office in the "hip and happening" Williamsburg, Brooklyn).
The company has grown steadily ever since, taking on projects of all sizes throughout the city, surrounding suburbs, and now includes projects in the Hudson Valley and Catskill regions as well. Williamsburg continues to be Christina's home base, where she shares her apartment with her husband, John, their 18-month old son, Julian, and their rescue pit-bull, William.
Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Design Bureau, Better Homes & Gardens, Brooklyn Exposed; on Apartment Therapy, Brooklyn Modern, Brooklyn Limestone, and numerous other design blogs. She has also made multiple appearances on The Nate Show.
