Schauer landscaping was founded in 1947 by Jack Schauer who is still president of the company. During the fifties, sixties and seventies he provided sod and seeding services to Moraine Country Club, NCR Golf Course, General Electric Building and many athletic fields for local schools including the University of Dayton. One of his greatest thrills was seeding Crosley Field in Cincinnati - the original home of the Cincinnati Reds.
In 1981 Schauer Landscaping incorporated and moved to its present location on Clyo Road. At that time, they expanded their services to include landscape design and installation, residential and commercial maintenance, installation of paver patios, walkways and driveways, retaining walls, mulch delivery, custom woodworking, snow removal and Christmas trees and wreaths
Over the years one thing has remained the same at Schauer Landscaping, Quality work using top grade plants and materials, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, attention to detail and great customer service.
