Some additional info: the toilet is a Geberit wall mount which was used because a standard toilet would not fit in this space. Behind the toilet is a foundation footing (the back of the vanity was also removed and patched to accomodate the footing) so the tank is mounted in the wall above the toilet unit and the waste pipe is above the floor level. We have done this in several instances so that we can take advantage of odd spaces in basements, under stairs and garages.
