Honed granite counter top on a island shaped for 2. The clients enjoy cooking together and the island cutout and extra sink make that much easier. Contrasting cabinets on the island further set it apart from the rest of the cherry cabinets. A stainless apron sink looks out though a bank of windows. (RDM Architecture)

Kind of feel like I'm looking at The Olive Garden without all the sign.s. Overdone dark, Tuscan look. But I would love to know what the owners think of their cork floors as we are considering installing them.

  • An existing house was razed nearly to the foundation and a new house designed around that. Outdoor spaces are a huge part of this project and nearly every space has access to the outdoors in one way or another. Custom elements abound including an island designed for cooking from both sides to allow the clients to cook at the same time and custom decks and railings throughout. As wells a beautiful wood and glass stair and railing and some incredible tile work in the master bath.
