Just because it's small, doesn't mean it needs to lack style. A powder room can make just as much of a design statement as any room in the house.
When redoing a powder room, you'll want to employ tactics to make it feel larger. Many powder rooms are tiny and crowding them with oversized vanities or other features is not ideal. Rather, choose minimal features, and consider a pedestal sink or wall-mounted sinks to create a more open space.
While it may be tempting to ignore design elements, wall color and even wallpaper can actually make a small room pop even more. Don't be afraid of a bold color or framed art, or even wainscoting in your plans.
