Design ideas for your home
Now that is my style of kitchen. Just replace the island with a chocolate one and the upper cabinets with some glass or something to coordinate with the island.
Not a fan of the furniture/decor... I would change that area with the stoves and put a fireplace there and/or change the backsplash. Maybe a different countertop.
This reminds me of a farmhouse which is a look I LOVE. Takes me back to my visits with Grandma & Grandpa. I love the farmhouse sink, the faucet and all the windows.
I love the white, bright, clean look of this kitchen and the fact that it's not locked into any particular color scheme. The red island can be repainted as your tastes change. Love the contrast of the dark floors & I'd love to see matching beams on the ceiling for a more cohesive look.

Loving the tongue and groove ceiling with exposed beams. Narrow furniture island is a nice contrast to the creamy cabinetry. Fabulous range hood.
Cabinets on either side of window, or even above window. What are we going to do with the window? Can we do anything with it???
The architecture of this kitchen plus all the windows is what does it for me. I love the bead board beamed ceiling and contrasting wood floors which to me exudes a warm but bright & crisp/airy country look.
