Make bath time better for the kids and for you with a well-designed kids room. Like the other bathrooms in the home, functionality is key. While you may love a giant clawfoot tub, it may not be the best option when it comes to bathing kids. A showertub, although basic, may be a better option. And if you have more than one kid and the space for it, dual sinks may temper tooth-brushing argument or two.
When outfitting the bathroom for the kids, think of accessories that will make the bathroom more accessible for them: non-slip rugs, stools or towel hooks at kid height are all things that may make getting a kid clean a little less hectic.
And of course, fun elements like patterned shower curtains, wall decals or art will go a long way, too, in creating a kid-friendly space.
