This residential kitchen remodel took place on St. James Street in Philadelphia. The project started with completely gutting the existing kitchen and eating area including removal of the existing hardwood flooring down to the sub floor. Reclaimed oak flooring was then installed in a herringbone pattern in both the kitchen and the dining area. The project also included new kitchen cabinets with reeded glass panels, granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances, and new lighting featuring two stainless steel pendant lights above the island in addition to under cabinet and above cabinet lighting.
