This school is horrible. They rarely have parent involvement they have no professionalism anywhere and the staff is rude and mean. HORRIBLE SCHOOL! The only reason im giving it 2 stars is because its clean.

don't like the fact that middle school is mixed with high school students they don't have any classes together but they do pass each other in the hallways and high schoolers can be mean to the little ones specially the 6th graders as such was my son's experience.

I hate Ms. Vega she is super mean i dont even why she hates me

BAD school BAD principal and assistant principal ( ELEONORA CUESTA AND ELIZABETH SIMON ) have of the staff they don't know nothing and thank god I reported to the school board a lot of think bad think happened and that school !!!

The quality of the academic programs in the honors programs is excellent.. The level of parent involvement as in most middle schools is not as prevalent as in the elementary level. Yet there is a strong pta that assists with the shortfalls. The office's staff are amazing extremely cooperated. I definitely reccomend this school for all incoming middle students.

This is an amazing institution with a proven success on the development of education and principals. Every single alumni have a very good opportunity of learning the right skills to face the next step on their education.

I looovvveee this school. I have been attending it for my 3 years of middle school and I've got to say the piano and music programs are the reason I'm staying for high school. Plenty of variety in electives and performing arts choices. I will be sad to graduate from the middle school this year.

I put my son and daughter in the 2010-2011 school year and they were failing compared to other middle school they left and the elementary school they went to! I highly don't recommend this school to any parents!!! The middle schoolers are combined with the high schoolers which is even worse! I reported the school for drug use in the school and it hasn't been solved yet but I immedietly withdrawed them from doral academy and put them in a new school and now they r back on track with good grades!!!

My daughter attended this school on 2009-2010. Based on my personal experience I do not recommend it to anybody. I put an straight A President's Award student in their hands and nothing else happened. I had to withdraw her for lack of challenge. All comments apply to 2009-2010 I do not have references for current year.

As parents who go out of their way to send their kids to a better school to improve their scholastic experience I have nothing but good things to say about Doral Academy. I have two teenage sons and the EXCELLENT Doral staff does a wonderful job at weeding negative elements out. Their academic curriculum is to my satisfaction and their test scores can attest to this. I don t like the online teaching system called Carnegie. I actually really like the fact that my kids can have some learning time at home besides their time at school and the system itself is good. However their online teacher was sometimes far ahead of their actual teachers. They were doing homework on work they haven t been taught yet. What I did find to be troubling were in my opinion over-inflated fees associated with extra-curricular activities.

They love their kids (Staff) Also they are very good with teaching and learning folliowing policy as well.

I went to this school for 6th grade year and it was amazing. The teachers are dedicated and wiling to help you. I honestly do believe that it'd one of the best middle schools in the worl as well as a high school! Can't wait for 7th grade!!

I have attended this school for the past three years and it has been a great experience. There is a good amount of regulation students don't get away with everything but they're not babied either. Despite the fact that some of the teachers don't have great qualifications don't judge a book by it's cover. A lot of these teachers are great instructors excellent at keeping the students interested in the material and working toward higher degrees. The school does lack a variety of good extracurricular activities however and they have problems with the maintenance of the restrooms (which is primarily the student's faults).

Doral Academy offers doble enrollment courses to those students that have outstanding scores and want to take clases that gives credits to college also the advance classes are a good chance to those that want to learn. My daugther is in middle school going to high school this year and I can say I am thankfull with DACMS. This is a great Charter School.

As I have tried to express previously this school is not all what it seems. Lack of organization and administration that doesn't even have a speck of interest in their students. Things are extremely costly in this school - fees for everything! Most teachers are inexperienced and newbies. Hardly any electives. Library has roughly 200 books. Look elsewhere my mom and I were once fooled by the lie of Doral Academy.

My name is Mariana Rodriguez and I have attended Doral Academy since Kindergarden. I am currently in 8th grade and I'm proud to say this school has indeed helped me mold myself into the young woman I am today. The school does have it's faults just like any school but it indeed has a lot of advantages. The honors gifted and advanced programs are great! They really do push you to strive for your best and nothing less. The amount of students is an eye-opener but I guess it adds to a great enviorment (a total of about 900 students) I can say that not all of the student body gets along great but they rarely have any issues in that matter. They do have a uniform policy and they excpect you to abide by those rules. Teachers are mostly average but there are a couple of teachers that really top

well am a transfer student got there in the ending of school there was only 3 months of school left.but some how some way i past the 7th the teachers are great.but yet the staff and administration are a little bit to stritct hey we are kids but i guess we need displine ;)

I love the school it is fantastic i recomend it for any child

If you are thinking of attending this school I advise against it. This school barely has any selection for extra-curricular activities and/or elective classes. This school is way too strict with the uniform policy. This school spends too much time making rediculos rules where they should be focusing on improving the school overall. The teachers and staff arent the best around and give alot of work but dont teach that much.
