Lester is a top notch school because of its dedicated teachers staff and involved families. We have been so pleased for the past five years and are looking forward to the next few years at Lester. Every teacher has been so caring! Communication is great! The PTA is wonderful and there are so many ways to get involved!

Lester has a great community of caring families and teachers. My children have loved every teacher they have had during their time there.

I have been a Lester parent for five years and each year I am more impressed with the expertise and dedication of the teachers and staff. Our lower elementary teachers are exceptional - integrating technology through our 1 1 ipad program that is truly amazing. And our higher elementary teachers really look to engage the kids and prepare them for middle school. Our PTA is also amazing providing programs and events to build the Lester community and continually add value to our kids education.

I have been a Lester parent for 6 years. The teachers my child has had have been caring and have gone above and beyond to make him a better student. Lester has great parental support. This school has an extremely active PTA with their fund raising they try to fill the needs of the school that the district can't. Everyone is very welcoming and makes you feel included. I couldn't imagine my kids going anywhere else.

my kids have been going to Lester for 2yrs and i must say the teachers are good At teaching but in denial about bullying there is a lot of bullying going on and a lot of denial about that there has to be more structure and listening to bully complaints also a lot of the mothers group together and exclude others not very welcoming....

Over populated. School is going downhill. Classrooms are getting to big and as a result teacher doesn't have time for every child. Something has to be done.

Though academics were fine I had to pull our child out due to a very poor social environment. Too much drama in the classroom. Children expected to help those with special needs. Gifted children left behind. The average is encouraged.

Lester has a very strong PTA. I question the teachers' (K-1) policy of not allowing a parent in the classroom except for parties or other special occasions. I have now raised children in 5 different states and have a good sampling for comparison. I can tell you that spending time in the classroom is really the only way to really evaluate your child's environment for learning.

Never had a problem with a school until Lester. Lots of bullying goes on without any discipline. Teachers are overall great but better stay real involved.

Lester is a great school. The teachers are very commited and most have been there a long time. Academic standards are high as are standards of discipline within the school. Class sizes are good and most parents are fairly involved in school activities. All in all a great school.

Great relationship between Principal teachers parents and students. In 8 years have never seen a teacher that I would not want one of my children to have. Principal and teachers easy to contact and respond quickly. Students like to learn there. Beautiful gardens tended by staff students and parents. Excellent learning tool. This school has a strong feeling of Community. I would recommed it to everyone. Very good relationship with PTA. Teacher always ready to give help. Many fun and learning projects in each grade level.
