This place is a total scam. I was a student here once and lasted only 2 months because my parents were fooled by this place. It seemed too good to be true and then it was. The staff had little to no experience with true ASD/LD students and they were shocked by their displays of typical behaviors. The schoolwork consisted of totally irrelevant information. There was too little supervision in the dorms so the girls ended up arguing nonstop getting aggressive even running around naked. They will fool you with a scam at first but do not fall for it. My parents lost $31 000 on this school!

Franklin Academy changed my son's life. I would be happy to speak with parents interested in the school. In short they taught him accountability and helped him develop strong self-confidence. We were told by other schools that he was not college material. He is now a sophomore in a good college getting good to excellent grades and knows where he is going. Many of the students have Aspergers and since these kids tend to be very bright the school has to hire teachers who are even brighter. They are a dedicated bunch. Like any school it only works if the student wants it to work. If there is a shred of desire in your child Franklin will find it and put it to work.
