My child has been at St. Rose of Lima Academy since Pre-school. She flourishes in all her subjects thanks to the excellent teachers cutting edge teaching methods and smaller teacher/student ratio. Aside from great academics and STEM my child came out of her shell thanks to opportunities the school gave her and all students for public speaking as early as Kindergarten. The nurturing environment and the 'buddy' system with upper Grades makes each child feel like they're with family. Love this school!

I had my child at this school for about 3 years and I think I can offer a fair review. It's been 3 years since we left but I still keep in touch with some parents who have their kids there and I can tell you things have not changed much. The enrollment is low. I do wonder why? Some teachers are very good some are mediocre insensitive and bitter. The good ones do their job and are truly committed Chatolics. The school is very demanding so the children certainly achieve a high-academic level which allows them to get into the best high schools in the area that's a fact. Management is a different story. This school does not offer a good social environment. There is favoritism from the teachers which they do not bother to hide. There is bullying Yes there is bullying everywhere but at this school is pointed-out and the administrators/Principal/Priest say they will do something but it is pure "diplomacy". They just do not care! The "intervention" of Father Owen makes things worst. He enables bullying because he is himself the first bully. This school can be a great experience if you are one of their "favorites" or if you donate a lot of money to the church and the 'academy".

This is a great school if you are looking for a great religious education for your child. Parent involvement is definitely a part of what makes this school great.
