Average school some teachers are more experienced than others but all we've met seem enthusiastic and genuinely caring about the kids. They seem to stick very closely to the curriculum and have difficulty with exceptional and special needs students. Grades 1-2 very little homework is sent home and its requires proactive parents to establish good communication but they are willing to work with you. Support staff is great from the paraprofessionals to the office workers to the lunch staff the kids seem to love the vibe in this school.

Mr. McMahon is a wonderful principal. He is not just a principal but a friend and person the kids can talk to. Mr McMahon is a fair and honest person and willing to go the extra mile or two to help someone. Mr McMahon knows all the students in his school by their first names and I bet he has lunch with most of the kids before the year is over. He is approachable by anyone. The students adore him. The staff is their to teach and encourage the students and they do a good job. Just look at the schools ratings. Most of the students don't want to move on to the next school. They would like to finish their educations at Radley School. I think that says a lot.

I have had nothing but the best experiences with the current principal of this school. He has always been professional with me and has helped me work through issues with students and teachers. From my observations he has a great rapport with the students staff and parents. I have also had contact with the school nurse and she works very hard along side the administration to provide excellent care for children with health problems. Not only is this a caring and nurturing school and staff their committment to academics is outstanding with scores improving yearly. I would highly recommend not only Radley Elementary but the entire EHPS district.

The current principal of this school is not well-suited to dealing with parents or children. He has a quick explosive temper and is impossible to speak to. I am also concerned that this school doesn't seem to have plans and appropriate actions in place for children with health problems.
