Both my childern attend F.A. March Elementary School. Not only is the building beautiful the teachers are engaged and responsive. Of note the new principal is Mr. Hector Bonilla who replaced Ms. Judith Steinberg. He is very engaged frequently out in the halls with the students and is very motivating and positive. He has been a great supporter of March's role in the community in which it resides.

my son loves the school and the teachers he had so much fun up there
I love this school F.A. march my daughter transfered from a school in North carolina and for the negative comments comming from other parents they should see how they run schools in other places. this school has a very positive outlook on life in general and my daughter was in I.U. classes when she got here and now is out of them completely . they are very on point with there studies. and the principal is AWESOME!! he teaches our kids to have a high self of steem and to love everyone i think he is great! thats my opinion!
I have 1 daughter going in to 4th grade at March School She loves goin to march school Mrs.Arp Mrs.Dugdale Mrs.willams and Mrs. Costello all of those teachers were great I would never want my daughter to go to any other school BUT THE ONLY THING THAT WE ARE UPSET WITH IS MRS. STEINBURG WILL NOT BE THE PRINCIPAL
Fantastic neighborhood school. There are not many schools like it anymore. A large number of students walk to school - its part of the neighborhood fabric. It also has a very diverse student body. Our children have had a very rich experience with great teachers and many outside of the classroom opportunities through evening programs etc. Things like average test scores don't due justice to the strength of this school which again serves a diverse group of students. After 5+ years of experience we are big fans.
This is not a good school though teachers are good but the leadership has no direction. I was very disappointed the way the principal behaved with my special child. Never take risk with this school.
Very disappointed in this school. Poor leadership and excessive focus on discipline which does nothing to motivate well-behaved children. The 'FAME' behavior program takes away from learning time. The school rehab is gorgeous; too bad the curriculum isn't nearly as impressive.
I have 2 daughters k and grade 3 they both love it at march elementary and so do we the parent. The tracher miss sannicks and miss waring are the best. These teachers take the time out to teach our children well and for that I'm greatful that we still have teachers like those around. Thank you miss steinberg for your leadership in the school your hardwork is seen in our kids and your faculty.
Excellent school excellent structure definately holding the wisdom to unfold every pedal of education and balanced discipline. Mrs. Steinburg is the greatest holding it all together!
After a year at March with sons in first and fourth grades we are generally happy with the experience we've had. The teachers are very involved in the process and the boys are challenged by the work without being swamped. I suppose it's unreasonable to expect perfect teachers every year but we did feel that our first grade teacher lacked some experience in dealing with energetic six-year-olds. The teacher seemed to fall back on discipline rather than more creative solutions. March puts a lot of emphasis on discipline perhaps a bit too much for our taste. But the kids roll with it and there's a real school spirit to the place. This spirit includes parents who participate in most of the aspects of the kids' education which include sports chorus orchestra and art. March was a good choice for us.
Great neighborhood school that works on discipline in a positive way.
