End of Class Tests (EOC)

In 2011-2012 North Carolina used End-of-Course (EOC) tests to assess high school students in Algebra I, English I, and Biology. The EOC tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of North Carolina. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level on the tests.

I believe that some of the teachers do a great job some of the other teachers do ok and some of the teachers do not need to teacher cause of the way they treat the students. They sometimes forget their role and what they should be doing.

getting better by the day the new principal is a huge plus for the high school and there are a number of teachers that are the best in their field

While the past several years have had a limited focus on academics for the sake of the sports program I believe the new principal will change that for the better. Also all students will now be included in the life of the school. This is bound to develop a deeper communal experience.
