My son has attended Ellijay Elementary since Kindergarten and is now in 3rd grade. This is a wonderful school with excellent teachers. I am an active parent volunteer and PTO member. I have always felt welcomed and any questions or concerns that have come up were quickly addressed and handled. We NEVER would dream of wanting our kids to attend any other school. As far as "unruly" children go that will be found in any school.

My daughters both attend EES and I've had problems with the school from time to time which were caused by the large amount of students (not as much of a personal touch) and parent involvement w/the children. Unruly children have disrupted my kid's classrooms but due to sheer # of kids this is overlooked.

I think they do an excellent job of teaching our children.

This school needs help!! You do have some great teachers but we have lost alot of things due to stealing. Admin doesn't seem to care. Even when the other child is caught with it doesn't matter. Teachers couldn't explain state test scores either!

I have found this school to be very helpful and understanding. My child has a wonderful teacher that takes the time to keep her interested in her studies..
