My children love this school as I did when I went there.

I love Eli Whitney. As a parent of 5 boys all of whom have attended Eli Whitney I know first hand what a great school this is. One of my sons required special assistance with speech and reading in his early years and he went on to make honors in 3-6 grade. I believe this was due to the support and encouragement he received from his teachers. Having been involved with Eli Whitney for the past eight years with 4 more to go I extend my gratitude to the staff for a job well done. I would highly reccommend Eli Whitney as a top choice for elementary schools in Enfield.

I'm so dissapointed with Eli Whitney Elementary School. My son is attending it for 2 years now. And I have just received letter from principal stating that my son's Language Art skills are insufficient for his grade. Meanwhile he was tested twice and he doesn't qualify for ESL assistance because he passed the test offered by state of CT. Now I have a question who supposed to teach my son the langugage..I thought the school system does that I do pay my taxes and at the same time I can't teach my son since english is my second language. What has the school been doing for past two years? Rdaicullous!!!
