I my self attended Wilson Middle School in Erie PA and have always thought it was a great school though when my daughter entered 6th grade I was reluctant in putting her into Wilson because of the rumors we had a terrible year last year (6th grade) at a school I thought would be better for her with smaller class sizes so I finally decided this year (7th) to give it a try irregardless of the rumors. My daughter was reluctant as well as I but she loves it. She loves that she can better understand the teachers and there way of teaching as she puts it "They know how to teach and know there stuff"..

I beleive the school has a wonderful staff. My children enjoy attending school. I think alot of it has to do with the teachers. The teachers there are great at communicating with the students and parents. The students can stay on task and focus when they don't have to worry about asking questions. I also enjoy the family nights that the school participates in. Getting involved with the students outside of class is a great way to build the teacher-student relationship. The activities they have are fun and also include fitness so the kids get fit and have fun also.

We have a rich environment of multiethnic multiracial and multitalented students that challenge our teachers daily and we enjoy the challenge and most of all the beautiful diversity.

I moved into the City of Erie because I teach at Woodrow Wilson Middle School and believe so much in the public education the faculty and staff offer the students here that I want MY children to get a well rounded academic and social education as well!

The teachers are very helpful and the students are extremely friendly. Their is great leadership at Wilson through the principals and assistant principals. They know the students and the staff by name. They make sure to take care of any issues students and parents have. It is a fantastic school

Hardworking staff and administration that care and are involved with the students. One of the best group of 8th grade students ever!

My children are new to this school and the school proved my fears to be correct. There was no support for new students! They couldn't even have orientation for new students until 3 weeks after school started - real intelligent there! Due to this and other issues arising from this (nobody appears to know what they are doing) my kids have had a really hard week.

There are not enough text books for each student. The condition of the school and sports field is a disaster. I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a school.
