This school has an excellent teachers and staff. The test scores are lower than the state average but this is mainly due to the fact that English is a second language for many students. Students come from all over the world not just Latin America and eastern Europe. Many students are even trilingual. This creates a great opportunity to learn about the world. first hand.

The principal and staff are outstanding. They uphold a no tolerance for bullying gangs drugs and so on. The multi cultural aspect of this school is wonderful so culturally diverse. There are many programs to help ESL students and students with disabilities so don't let the test scores fool you. The neighborhood is a bit of a distraction as far as there is more disruptive activities. This would be the only reason for the lower rating.
