This school is really great. The staff is so helpful and understanding. My kids love it.

This school was not a good fit for my child with special needs. My child failed the proficiency tests and was refused additional help on multiple occasions. Minority children are failing miserably at this school.

This is a wonderful school that my child has enjoyed. My child has attended all grades here as well as myself. It has a very involved PTA and the parents are well received by the staff. There are many after school programs that vary and all children should be able to find one that suits their interests. The students have a well paced education that challenges them while having fun. I have grown up through the school system and have my child doing the same. This is a fabulous area to raise a family!

Fort Island is an wonderful elementary school. We are very happy with the academic curriculum. And also LOVE the art physical education computer guidance music and intervention programs. The PTA is very active and the teaching staff and the principal are all completely dedicated to the success of this school and its students. Our children have thrived at this school.
