JP is a wonderful middle school. Far superior to the other middle school within the Fairport Schools. Sixth graders are transitioned nicely into the middle school environment. The focus here is on learning unlike other middle schools where the focus is on fun. Although no school is perfect JP is close to it!

Avoid if possible. Some of the teachers are good some not. Most act like everything is perfect here. A lot goes on that they either don't know about or pretend not to. The Principal talks like a salesman to sell the school to you instead of addressing a problem. I will say the VP is good and has helped us more than once.

Johanna Perrin has a great staff with excellent teachers. the principal is great and so is the vice principal. i also thought that the after school clubs and actives were great. my son who attended J.P. last year loved the scool. we moved and now he is attending martha brown but he very badly wishes he could go back.

i disagree with the parents. i feel like the school is a place to learn more and they have many club like yearbook club and school of rock club. i love the teachers i have and the staff is very nice and understanding. i also must say you have to go to a informational meeting for sports. i feel as if i fit in with everyone at the school.

I could not agree more with the last review I almost feel like I wrote it. My son had such a difficutly adjusting not to mention the lack of clubs some clubs that were started where ended without warning. The communication system is lacking and trying to find information regarding sports signups on the websites is hidden. The administrators act like no problems occurr at the school and when one does they talk like used car salesmen just to get you out of the school. In general I would love to have my son attend Martha Brown.

Very disappointed in this school. My child did well in Northside Elementary but the transition to this school has been nightmarish. The staff is rigid and unhelpful the administrators talk a good game but avoid action students with differences experience problems but parents are told "we have great kids at this school." If you are buying a house make sure it's in the martha brown school area.

I as a student at johanna perrin love this school. The principal is astounding and the vice principal is extremely helpful. The teachers well the ones i have are the best teacher in the whole world(no over statement). The students were very welcoming to me as a new student coming from a webster catholic school. I like the organizational method of two-teacher teams often after school parties and clubs for all grades.Again i love this school!
