My son attends Calvary Chapel Christian School (CCCS). He is in Kindergarten (2012-2013) and the curriculum FAR EXCEEDED my expectations!! My two older children are in public school and we were using this year to give my son an extra year to mature. Well It has been such a banner year that I am seriously thinking about putting all my kids in Calvary Chapel Christian School. Just to give you a quick example. Some of the PUBLIC school "sight" words for Kindergarten are "in on to of will see". At Calvary Chapel he has weekly SPELLING WORDS (not every kid in public school has spelling tests but they have spelling tests at CCCS). The CCCS spelling words are diagraphs and blends like plant spill mother clock chip flash bread. I have been blown away with the higher expectations and my son is doing great!! I would HIGHLY recommend this school and have nothing but positives to say about the staff. They are gentle yet firm with the kids.

This school is Christ Centered and teaches my son the principles of God as they apply to behavior academics and most importantly praise and worship. There are no half days except the last day of school. Once a month field trips for 5th grade included Jell-O Museum Hockstein School of Music Niagara Falls YMCA Swim Sledding and more! My son has grown more in the last year being mentored by wonderful Christian teachers that his years in the foster care system are becoming acceptable with the strength of Christ. Planning to hold him back he was tested and found in need of mathematics help. With the structure of the school he was able do 4th grade math with other 4th 5th and 6th graders. The class sizes are small and individual attention is given to each student. Each class has a pastor and there are many excellent male role models. John3 16
