The school serves its purpose by educating students who can not adapt to the regular school setting. I have interviewed several high school students and they now have positive attitudes about the school.

The Leadership of the School should really be looked at.

Being a military parent I was embarrased when my child had to go to this school. She was on the honor roll and got in trouble for a fight. I thought that her grades would go down and that she would just be pushed through the 9th grade at this school. To my surprise the principal has a really good grasp on the students. His motivation motivates the students and makes them want to learn and behave. To my surprise my daughter is doing an outstanding job and has a new confidence that she didn't have in her regular high school. I think that some of the other principals around the county need to take a look at his strategy and mimic it. Maybe by using is methods they could help Cumberland County school's reputation!
