Also.. Recess should be addressed. 10 min recess time is a joke 2- 20 min is way better then a bunch of 10 minute. Kids need to decompress after being stuck in a building All day . They need time to play especially since there are Way to many kids per class . My kids grades have dropped and this school Is easier. Teacher quality makes a difference. Wait till after the fact with out contacting parent .. Shame shame..

This school should not be ranked 9. .Poor playground equiptment poor teacher guarding on coats etc.. Teachers move and move on. Take zero responsibilty On late or "fix" homework. How can we fix if it doesn't Come home. I had teachers that graded daily.. Not here and no communication to parents. When there are tests required in school.. Teacher needs to make sure it is done. Not expect a 10 year old to act like a 14 year old. I wish there was a alternative school.. I heard teachers talking bad about students. And the principal sees nothing but awesome and every teacher is the best. Wish there were more schools or options. Guess if you are from here.. Maybe it is great but when you have seen wayyyy better. Hard to see this 9/10 of schools. Has me worried about the next school. Teachers need to hold some responsibility and grade towards that. There are schools that deserve a 9/10 but not this school. Parental voice means nothing here.. School is hot and stuffy.. Back almost 30 kids into that.. If the teachers are chilly pack a cardi

My 2 kids have been going to this school since it opened my son is now in high school and my daughter still attends EVES and we are very pleased with this school. All but 1 teacher has been amazing that 1 teacher no longer teaches there and my kids were fully engaged and ended up loving school loving the teachers and made wonderful friends! The office staff is very helpful and very attentive. I would call to relay messages for my daughter and they would know who I am and my daughter her grade & her teacher. The PTA is doing an awesome job with all the upgrades to the playground and the multi-purpose room. Their involvement with the community is outstanding. This is a great school and they really focus on education and always strongly encourages students to do their best! Only thing I don't like about EVES is it's only K-4.

This is school is wonderful. It has a hard working staff rewards students for their achievment and has a friendly atmosphere. It is obvious that they care about their students and works with parents to help. I was impressed with the PTA and what they do for the school.

I volunteered at the school in my daughters kindergarten class. I got to see 1st hand the daily operations of the kindergarten class. The playground has enough equipment for the kids to play on but could use more. Not real important in my opinion. The school has a decent library/computer lab. I really like the fact that they integrate the coomputers and internet into learning considering that computers are an important fact of life now days. Grading and testing from what I saw is a bit rushed but the concept is good. The teachers will provide very specific things that the children need to work on or have improved on. My only real concern with the school was the half daykindergarten. That has been switched to full day now.

My daughter has been in this school going on her 3rd year and we love it. We have teachers that care are involved and work to help the children to learn. Each teacher she has had challenges her every day. Every experience I have had with the principal has been positive. I feel she's steering the school in the right direction.

My son is in kindergarten at EVES and I am extremely pleased with his achievements! His teacher is wonderful and very involved. In my opinion the playground is fine. My child is at school to learn...the playground is a bonus!

We love this school! We had a tremendous experience with kindergarten and just as wonderful experience with first grade. The teachers are wonderful and really put as much curriculum into the day as possible. The front office staff is friendly and always available for questions. The playground is a little bare...but they are raising money to add new equipment. That part will come with time....

my boys has gone to Eves for 2 going on 3 years now and they love it!! they have had great teachers all 3 years. They have alot of family orientated activites like movie night the art fair father daughter night mother son etc.. the staff and teachers has always been helpful and know us (parents) by name. One f my sons was delayed the first few years and now is right up there at grade level if not above thanks to the teachers and hard work. This is a great school.

This school is lacking in discipline. The bullying that goes on at this school is shameful.

The principal in this school is seriously lacking! She is inattentive and has zero regard to what the parents think. Most of the teachers try to be helpful but don't have much authority. The school is lacking in almost every aspect. Yes it is new however the multi purpose room is tiny with no stage or PE equipment. The play ground has a lot of room but no equipment. My kids made great progress last year but only because we lucked out and had great teachers and I worked with them for hours.

My daughter is in kindergarten and her reading has improved tremendously since we've moved here. She has also made progress in writing. EVES has some kinks but the school and parents should work together to help kids reach their full potential.

My son has struggled with learning since he started school and until he started attending EVES we were really worried about how he would make it through high school. Since he started at EVES last school year he was 2 grades behind and now is reading and writing at six grade level. (He is in 5th grade) Thanks to the wonderful teachers at EVES. As for discipline I have experienced the opposite of what others. We had problems with over discipling which was resolved by a single phone call to the teacher and the teacher followed up with me a month later to ensure that the changes made were positive ones.

My daughter attendted this school this year and I am very disappointed at the lack of interest of the teachers. The teachers offer very little assistance if your child seems to be falling behind (in which mine is). I have made several phone calls and left messages for the principal but have yet to have one single call returned. I am seriously considering taking my child into Reno for schooling next year. I would not suggest this school or either of the two teachers we have had since my daughter has attended there. The principal is nice but very unaware of what is going on in the school.

I have had only positive experiences with this school. I have 2 children that attend they now have playground equipment yes it took a while but its a new school. The playground is supervised and the teachers care about what happens in class.

I have not had good experiences with this school. My two children have great teachers but otherwise I am quite displeased with this school. It is run like a prison. Too many of the kids that attend this school have issues that they bring from home with them to school and very little seems to be done about it. I am strongly considering home schooling which is something I never thought I'd do. There isn't even a jungle gym anywhere on the school grounds just some monkey bars & 2 swing sets. Our kids deserve better.

I am very happy with this school. yes they have a few things they need to work on but the kids all seem very happy and all the teachers I have meet are very nice.

My daughters teacher actually told her 'don't worry if the answer is right or wrong just put something down'! I talked to the principal about this and he just shrugged it off! I think this is a terrible school and no one seems to really care. The playgrounds are unsupervised the teachers pay very little attention to what is going on in class. I am glad we are moving.

EVES needs to reevalute having mixed grades for recess.

There is very little about this school that I do like. The only thing so far are a few of the teachers. Bullies on playground with no good playground supervision. Office staff has been not helpful so far. Seems that the focus of education here is just test scores. Not impressed at all and glad we are moving.
