My son has been bullied for 3 years at this school and nothing has ever been done to my satisfaction about it. So glad we are almost done with this year!!

I Certaiainly Think This School Has A Lack In Encouragement Into The Students That Dont Miss Any Days Or Honor Roll Students. Also You Do Not Show Attention To Clubs. Like TSA Or FFA (competition Team Only) We Would Also Like To Be Called Down At Pep Rallys Too!

Ben Hill Middle School has too lax a policy on discipline. Students routinely disrupt class to the detriment of other students.

Not enough parent involved Don't encourge the kids more on academic Ya'll praise the kids that are athletic and that don't miss any days at all. When ya'll should be praising the ones that makes all A's all year long. Don't encourge the kids to read more The school is boring No PTO or PTA I've seen as long as the kids are football players and don't miss any days of school. They get a medal pic in newspaper and job well done. The kids that may miss 1 or few days and works hard all year long to make A's the whole year gets a pat on the back or just a clap. You can clearly see where the encourgement goes.

My son just finsihed his first year at BHMS. With it being a needs for improvement school I was quite surprised at what my son did. I think major improvements have been made in this school. It has been much better than our 3 years at BHES. The administrative staff works well with the teachers in my opinion. I realize that more work can be done to make it the best it can be. If this school keeps working as hard as it did this past year there shouldn't be any problems in the future. I think it really helped hiring a principal that wasn't known to the school system. No one was able to influence any of his decisions. Also work needs to be done the meals that our children consume. 600 calories may be waht they need but all those carbohydrates they serve aren't good.
