Lawson continues to be a school dedicated to its students. The learning is rigorous and engaging. The teachers and staff are friendly and encourage parent and family involvement. Dr. Scheller works every aspect of the school from the front office to car duty. She is involved. This is an amazing place to bring your children to learn and grow.

All I can say is what an awesome school Lawson Elementary is. The staff is superb and my daughters love going there. I would say it is one of the best Hazelwood schools in the district. Bravo to all the teachers and staff for making our kids love to learn.

The staff has been very helpful to my son. He came to Lawson 2 years ago with a very negative attitude about school and has done a complete turn around. He enjoys school again and his grades reflect this. His teachers have gone over and beyond to help. The principal knows most the children by name it seems and always has encouraging words. She deals well with issues fair and consistant. The school has a pretty active parent group and has some evening activities such as Campfire/ Fall Events/Science Fair. All done with enthusiasm. Thanks to such a great staff!

My son and daughter are still attending this school and they love it! me and my husband love how the school get so many parents involved with school activities because it gives us a general idea of how the school works. My son is in Grade 1 and already loves everything and my daughter is in Grade 4 and she has always enjoyed her time there. This is a very good school!
