I think Fontana is a great school. The school feels like a community the parents and teachers are very involved in all the children's educational and after school activities. The class sizes are small and the teachers are able to teach to the children's individual level. The band program is great and the teacher is very dedicated. There is a wonderful Outdoor Education program for the fifth grade that allows the children to learn about the enironment and our area in particular. Parents have many opportunities to become involved at the school and are welcomed by the teachers and administrator.

Fontana has a wonderful teaching staff. They go out of their way to work with each child individually. The school seems to have great parental involvement. The teachers welcome parents to help out- such as reading with the students. I have enjoyed volunteering at the school. The school's PTO does things that benefit as many children as possible. The school has a terrific music and band education program. The performances they have demonstrate the talent of the students and the hard work the staff puts into teaching music and band. I like the fact that the school is just the right size. Two classes in each grade is perfect for the children to make freiends but not to big that a child would feel lost. I think that Fontana is a wonderful community and the school is an important part of the community.
