I'm very sad Moore is closing. This school had such an open and loving environment. The teachers really care as do the principals. I loved the ethnic diversity and will miss this school greatly.

Moore Elementary is a caring nurturing environment with a first rate staff and administrative team. It is small enough to be a real community where every child is cared for. There is wonderful diversity at Moore with lots of international students and a braod spectrum of socio-economic groupings represented. I would not entrust my children anywhere else!

Moore Elementary is one of the best kept secrets in this school district. My kids have thrived in the environment provided at Moore. The curriculum the diversity of the student population and the wonderful teachers on staff all combine to make Moore the exceptional place of learning that all schools should be.

Our children love the cultural diversity of Moore. We're thrilled with the friendships they've made and what they've learned about other cultures from those friendships. Moore has some excellent teachers and I truly mean they excel in what they do. However I would like to see more support for a program that TRULY MEETS the needs of talented and gifted children.

I have two out of four children currently attending Moore School. As a parent and a student myself education is the key to success and Moore gives all it's students that direction. All the teachers are wonderful and Amy is awesome! As a volunteer at the school I have witnessed first hand how dedicated each teacher and parent are in helping guide our children in the right direction. Before moving into the Moore area I checked out other local schools and felt that my children would have a better educational experience along with being such a diverse school I love Moore.

From the way the teachers present the core knowledge curriculum to the extra-curricular activities Moore has a lot to offer students. The teachers use projects and interacts to enhance student learning -- and it definitely works! My children love the after-school activities as well. They also embrace the international friendships that they have made. In addition the parents that volunteer are very dedicated yet I would like to see more parent volunteers. Finally the teachers and staff are very dedicated to ensuring that the well-being and the education of the students are being met.

As an international parent I would not be happier with the exceptional education Moore gives to our children. A multicultural education that allows our kids to open their minds in an appropriate way. The core knowledge system is just an extra point for the fabulous training they already achieve.

This is a great school for kids to be kids and learn a lot too. There is a huge amount of diversity around the world here and we are a big family always letting people into it! We have a great art and music program as well.

I believe their parent involvement is good in some areas. The parent teacher involvement is all about money. How can we raise more money so our teachers can continue their education. the focus is about50% on the students for example they do not enforce the importance of schoolrules. The bullying for example is part of a childs self esteem they do not take this serious. Statistics show that children that incur this type of behavior whether thay are the receipent or the giver this will effect them in many ways the rest of their lives. Peer pressure in 2005 is a lot different than 1970. If you are going to move with the times then grow with it get serious about your rules and regulations. These kids are our future. love your job that is your earning level.
