Fort Valley Middle School needs better staff. I am a parent and my child go to the middle school. this school is horrible! Their more worried about the student dress code than the lesson. since my child started going here last year in October 2012 from Huntington Middle school in Warner Robins Ga he has been bullied by the staff and his grades dropped really bad. Office staff are to loud and gossip to much on the phone. FTVM is not a good school its a terrible boot camp in my opinion

I am a former teacher at FVMS. The current situation is horrible. The Principal allows students to be disrespectful to the teachers. When teachers send a student to the office for disruptions the student comes back a few minutes later with no consequences given. For the rest of the period the class is in chaos and no learning takes place. I cannot wait to start my new job this fall to a school where teachers are respected and can actually teach the students.

Fort Valley Middle School is need of a sweeping change. I believe these problems occur because of the lack of leadership. I am tired of the schools low test scores and discipline within the building.

Our school neeeds help! I agree that the school is a mess. For the 6 years as Principal the school has received a NI rating (needs improvement) in 4 of the years including this year. As he says 'excellence without excuses' I believe it is time to make a change at Fort Valley Middle School for the sake of the students and teachers.

The academics and principal are terrible. Teachers do not stay long. They leave in discust after a year or two. The Peach County Board of Education does not care about this situation. Only a new principal with a new positive direction will take FVMS out of the current lackluster situation.

This school is a disaster in the leadership of the principal. Students are often not disciplined when sent into the office. The students 'control' the school. Again this year several great teachers are leaving for greener pastures.

I have 1 child at Fort Valley Middle School. The principal is very intellectual with the students and parents. He calls the students home to remind parents of major tests. He possess very strong value and moral skills. Since he has been principal of Fort Valley Middle School it has made AYP for each year. His main concern are the students. I have never seen another principal that cares about the students as he does. The students are always placed in the forefront of education. Dr. Green stay strong and keep up the good work. You are a wonderful principal. May God continue to bless you and keep you strong.

I am a parent of two children at Fort Valley Middle School. Over the years I have witnessed the quality of education go downhill. The principal has chased away several good teachers and staff. The principal has an unprofessional attitude and enjoys bullying staff and students.
