Horrible about communication and don't focus on children with special needs. The teachers are nice but not warm and inviting

This school may not be in the best conditions but the teachers their are fab! Kelli Baker is a great history teacher! I saw a lot of improvement in my daughter with history In that class )

The students behavior is another story but in the hallways some students tend to be "insane" when the hallways are unmonitored. Ever since its opening back in 1987 it had been a hazard zone school for parents even though they always expected it to be "normal" or "safe" as society expects the way that it is supposed to be.

This school may not be in the most amazing and wonderful conditions but they do have some awesome teachers who know what they are doing and know what they're teaching. So yeah that school might be ghetto BUT I will never be ashamed to say that I went there. I am now in Trimble Tech High School. Class of 2015. Inside I'm Still and always will be a Forest Oak Lion.!

I am very pleased with FHMS. The staff are excellent and the kids are really great. My son has truly thrived at FHMS. I love the diversity of the school and feel very blessed that my son is attending school here. Mr Hadley genuinely cares for the staff the students and the school and it certainly shows.

Principal Hadley is a terrific mentor. The teachers are motivated and willing to help the children comprehend even the most daunting schoolwork. There is a true spirit of high standards and excellence throughout the school.

I am a student at FHMS and i love it! I am in the choir program and the Music Director Mrs.Applin is absolutely fantastic! I also have Mrs.Isom for English and she is excellent! The Principal Mr.Hadley takes bullying very seriously hear. It's actually not as bad as everyone says it is.

I am a student at Fossil Hill Middle and greatly enjoy it. It has a good environment and some good teachers. Many are prejudice against the school because it is a little older and is more racially diverse. The band program is good for all but percussion and athletics are good for boys but not girls.

I am impressed with how well my son has done at Fossil Hill. He loves the school and the teachers do go above and beyond for my child. They have contacted me with their concerns and were very good at responding and helping me with my concerns.

My daughter is in 8th grade at Fossil Hill and has had a very positive experience. The teachers are great and seem to really like the kids and enjoy their jobs. I have looked into some of the other schools in the area and from talking with other parents I think this school has much less jealousy and prejudice. My daughter has friends of many ethnic and economic backgrounds and I believe she will be a better person for that. My son also went to Fossil Hill and had a positive experience.

I do not reccomend this school for parents to send their children to if they are truly concered about their childs acedemic levels vocabulary or tolerence. While the teachers are wonderful by giving life lessons and helping students who are having trouble the school itself is not a wonderful enviorment. While it's not as bad as a few inner city schools I reccomend you place your child elsewhere such as in Indian Springs or the new Trinity Springs. Or at least do some backround reading on this school before you send them here I highly reccomend that at the very least.

Fossil Hill Middle school has been such a positive and happy place for my daughter she has done really well academically and the Teachers are always willing to help. The principal has only been here for two years and has done an outstanding job in turning the school around. The school encourage parent involvement as much as possible. If your child will be going to Fossil Hill Middle school rest assured your child with your support will be very happy at this school.
