LOPC is not just a school for those who fight and get in trouble and leave and come back. Students for LOPC are hand picked to be given an opportunity to graduate high school. Perhaps a student has had illnesses that cause attendance problems which caused that student to get behind in school. LOPC give them the opportunity to do credit recover and get back on track. Yes there are students have had discipline problems and come to LOPC but we are proud of all our students and work very hard to make sure they have that chance of getting ready to meet the real world after high school. We manage to spend time with students and better understand what their lives consist of so we can be of better service and provide them with needs that are missing in their home life. And we try to teach students to LOVE at LOPC. We try really hard to make students a part of the LOPC family. The staff is definetly a family and we try to instill values of importance to these kids who might not get them anywhere else.

LOPC as it's called is not a school. It is a small building beside the old abandoned Walmart where they send the students who... fight repeatedly have quit school and then decided to come back have failed too many grades to go to real school or are just all around bad. The real school is Frankin Simpson High School. Not LOPC.
