We recently moved to the area and I have been very pleased with the school system. I have found the teachers extremely helpful.

When my child attended Warren County high school years ago I observed a lack of leadership among the teachers. If I had to re-register my child I would think twice about sending him to there.
You must stay involved with your child's education regardless of the school in which they attend. With that being said WCHS is an acceptable public school with more caring teachers than not. Problems seem to be dealt with accordingly.
All of the posts seem pretty old so I am updating with a new post. We recently moved to VA from Texas. It is a big change but overall the school has been great for my daughter. As for the problem areas well there are the same problems as every other school. I feel that the school addresses problems both proactively and reactively. The staff does a good job at teaching respect and helping students excel in areas of interest. There is high parent involvement on both an academic and atheletic level. All supportive of all the kids not just their own. Overall I think the school and staff has provided an excellent education for my daughter and I would high recommend it.
I think this school is great i am a recent graduate of this school and i think it has a great atmospher and great teachers
warren county high school is a great school. i hate it when people say its a bad school. its really not. i mean i would know am a student there the parents arent actually there to encounter everything im sure their kids exaggerate some. there may be a few 'problem children' there but what school doesnt have them? and its not right to say that the teachers cant teach if that were true my mother would not send me there and i know that for a fact. the teachers are all very nice supportive caring and fair. this school is also very safe. if i didnt feel safe i would not regularly attend this school sure it may not be the best school around but i like this school. i wouldnt choose any other school to attend.
New school new start ... We are overall very happy w/ the school. You have to follow up at home and set good standards and teach your children values etc. You can't leave it all up to the school. So that being said good kids/students = good experience.
ugh this school is terrible and none of the administrators care what the students do they just let them run wild also there is a lot of gang activity in this school also the teachers are not even good enough to be called teachers b/c they simply CANNOT teach
Warren County High School is the worst school I have encountered. The administrations lack of caring and denial of knowledge regarding Special Education should they be investigated by the Federal Governments Department of Education. It is apparent the State Department of Education does not care or also lacks the knowledge to properly give guidance to this school.
Warren County High is one of the most unsafe problematic High Schools that I have ever seen. Issues include lack of Discipline lack of leadership by the principal.
