On the first day of school this school tried to violate my daughter's 1st amendment rights. They stated that her pink hair was a distraction in the learning process. They are actually hindering the learning process as they will not place my daughter in the appropriate classes. Her previous school is not yet in session therefore they have yet to receive her standardized scores. It is extremely bothering to me that they have her repeating the same classes she took last year. The 8th grade guidance counselor has been extremely rude about the situation even calling both myself and her previous school liars. I wish there was another alternative for a middle school in our district! I feel bad for any child attending this school or parent sending their child into a school with such un-supportive administration and faculty.

This school had to much violence and bullying. Many kids get picked on constantly and the grades are below average. I would know I have went to this school for 2 years I was also bullied to the fullest extent and the teachers never did anything about it.

I love the way that they secure us. We do many hands-on activities and I enjoy every part of being in this school.

I think most of the teachers really try and make the school a good place for the kids to learn. What I don't like is that there are only a few students in honors classes. There are many students that are more than capable of exceeding in these classes but they are not pushed to do so. I also think that all the students should be taking spanish classes. It will better prepare them for high school. Students that need the extra help in reading should stay after for the extra help.

This is a school that has been designated as a Need Improvement Title 1 School. I as a parent of two 7th graders have often questioned my children on the lack of homework given in Math Reading Science on a daily basis. They spend more time doing class projects than homework.
