Boy the previous parent's review is not the same opinion that most people that I know in the Glenallen area have. If a child is singled out for abuse then good for them. If there is any possibility of abuse going on it certainly should be reported and the child protected!!! The teachers were (and I assume still are) highly trained. Especially in ways to help identify a child's strengths and weaknesses so that they can be taught in a way the child is able to learn best. Mrs. Norton was certainly high spirited but she was also fabulous! Mr. Johnson is equally fabulous! I loved the education my children received at GES and I miss it terribly. We have moved out of state and I feel the quality of education my children received there was excellent. PS. I'm glad you wouldn't send your dog there because they wouldn't be admitted.

I loved this school while I was enrolled and it was only gone and continues to go uphill. The old building is being replaced and students can look forward to a new learning enviornment in the next few years.
We transferred our child out of this school as soon as we were able to do so. It's a horrible school that uses untrained and unexperienced teachers. Children are singled out for abuse by both the teachers and past-principal who has thankfully moved on. I volunteered faithfully one day/week while my child was enrolled in this school. What I saw leads me to write I would not send a dog to this school.
