I was very happy when we purchased a home in this school district. My son went to Abingdon Elementary prior to this school. In my opinion this school is so much better. From parent/teacher communication administration and classroom size. Also this school is a title 1 distinguished school. My son is now in gifted program which I had asked for him to be tested numerous times at Abingdon and this never happened. His teacher regularly communicates with us and responds to any concerns either in writing or with a phone call. He has progressed so much from his previous year at Abingdon. I am very happy with this school and would recommend to any parent looking at schools in the area.

My grand daughter's school is Bethel Elementary . This past summer her and her mom moved from upper York County to Gloucester . She was really sad to move from her old school she had been to since Kindergarden now going in the 2nd grade . The teacher and her aide have been good to her she is enjoying learning and likes to share with us what is going on in class and what she leanrs . Loves this school...

I am going to give Bethel a 4 out of five. The teachers are awesome. They have tremendously helped my children. There is however an issue I have with one teacher that does not teach my child who has an inability to control their temper. I am rating the school as a whole and I can say the Asst. Principal is above excellent. She really has a grasp on what needs to be done.

Great school! My son is in kindergarten and I am very pleased with the school. I am very happy with the office staff and how the ask for ID if you pick you child up and the new sign in computer that takes a picture of the person that has signed in to the school. I feel that my child is safe. The Principal is wonderful. My child teachers are the the best. The only thing the worries my is the class ratio. But it is public school. Overall a great school.

I went to this school for K and 1. It was an incredible school. The teachers were great and as a student in a wheelchair the aides were incredible. I still remember them. I definitely loved this school.

I must say I really love Bethel. I have two children at Bethel. I feel the warmth the minute I come in the office. They have some of the best teachers that I may say the honor fo having ever met. They genuinely care about student and parent. I feel very safe and satisfied with Bethel.
