This is a great little school-I have a 2nd grader here and I went here as a child. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to help the kids. This school is for sure a "diamond in the rut" and does not get near the reconition it deserves. Go Bears!

There are many positive things about this school and like everything else there are a few negative areas. The first thing is that why do our students all have text books? they have to share and do not have one to bring home. I help my child with her homework every night and text books are needed not notes written from a projector from their text books. The teachers try hard and there are many great teachers but how can they do their job without the needed material. Some teachers are there just to get a paycheck and they make it obvious some of their kids get by with the help of parents not the teachers. Who do we contact about our school kids teachers not being thought of as important as other schools we are treated as a nothing backwoods school where just a few miles away other schools get what they need and their teachers are no where as dedicated as ours I know that our PTA does a good job with fundraisers etc. but parents need to get together stand up and find out who we contact complain to and let them know that we are not going to be treated like this again

My son is a student at Brookville (just completed kindergarten) and I have been very impressed with the community atmosphere at the school. It feels like family! All of the faculty are dedicated professionals who have our kids' best interests at heart.

This is my children second year at his school and personally I would not want to go anywhere else. This school is always open for whatever it may come that you need it for the doors are never shut and friendly people are on the inside. If there is a problem you are always contacted with reasonable time. The teachers are great they know my kids on a first name basis and if we are not at school they still know my kids it is a great feeling. My little girl has a medical issue that we are working on and the school has been right there with me in getting her the stuff she needs. The people of this school are always out and about to do for the under privileged kids of the school. They have a lot of after school activities for the kids. I could keep going for ever this is just the best school ever.

My child currently attends this school. Two and three children at a time are having to share class room text books and in other classes text books have yet to arrive. I work in adult education and this is unacceptable in my profession. It should not be allowed in the education of our children.

This is the best school that my children have ever been in. Small classes more personal. Great teachrs. The kindergarden camp is great! This school is awsome!

My child attended this school last year. The leadership at this school was unsatisfactiory. The lack of discipline by the administration is evident in the daily activities. The teachers do their best without support of the administraion.

I love this school. They have the greatest teachers. And the best coach.

I can not say any bad about the school my son has went to Brookville for two years now and has done great. The teachers are very good and so is the staff. I can only say good this about the school.

Academic programs are great sports are ok they only have 2 sports that I'm aware of I think they could have more like soccer or basketball. But that might be something that coach needs to talk to the board and principal. I'm sure some of the parents would be involved in those other sports and participate in them to help the coach out..

I have been a teacher at Brookville Elementary School for 6 years and love it. I feel that it is very much a community school. The parents students and teachers all work together to do what is best for the children. My son will be entering kindergarten next year and I wouldn't even consider another school. The small class sizes and home-like atmosphere of the school make it a top choice for me.

I believe that brookville is a wonderful school my son has ADHD and a learning disability and they have really worked well with my son where as his other school did not try to help him. Brookville is a wonderful school and Graysville is a wonderful community. I also like the idea of having a nurse at the school to help the kids with their medicines.

I would just like to say that all 3 of my children went to and 1 is still going to Brookville Elementary and I wouldnt send them anywhere else. The faculty members are always helpful and courteous to me as a parent. But more importantly they always take the time no matter how much is needed to help the students. All 3 of my children are honor roll students and although I would like to take all the credit for this (my gene pool and all) I know that I have to share the credit with the teachers of Brookville. Not only do they go above and beyond for the children they also do so with the parents as well to keep us informed and active in the education of our children. When it comes down to it you just don't get any better than the teachers Principal and staff of Brookville Elementary.

I really like the fact that they have or had a school nurse although we tried to help her keep her job it just wasn't in the states budget and also they had a computer class that really helped my 1st grader who was in the 1st grade for a 2nd time they helped him learned to read better and learn his spelling and math skills better but they have also taken away this privelge due to funds if only we had the lottery to support the schools
